I fully agree. I don't have time for 13 hours so I haven't watched most Netflix shows but I can sneak in an hour a week. Sometimes. So I'm usually current with one D+ or Amazon show.

Idk there's something about the pacing when the creators know they'll be judged by each episode that makes TV better for me.

[Secret maker note - Another anon posted a "secrets you don't want to make" thread a few days ago. That wasn't me, though. I wasn't planning on making any of those comment secrets because it wasn't clear whether or not they intended to do so or not, and I don't want to step on any toes.]

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

First things first: Thank you lovely Secret Maker for making my secret.

I've been turning this over in my mind ever since I submitted this, and I'm still struggling to get the shape of a story here. I have a decent set up for it, simplistic but decent enough, in one universe Sailor Moon is "real" but her soul has been kidnapped and Sailor Pluto kidnaps a Sailor Moon fan from "our" reality and plugs their soul into her body to keep up the charade until... and now I've got a few different options that I'm still workshopping. I gotta try and work out whether I'm going for comedy or drama; of comedrama, I suppose.

Anyway, thank you Secret Maker. and I hope to keep working on my weird throwback fic. I kinda miss those days so even if the plot (and fandom) is passée by now I still want to drop something in it.

Yeah, I think part of the problem with the lack of fan-activity these days is the rushed nature of serial narratives. There is neither space in the narrative to jam fan activity, nor space in the conversation to actually write and develop them.

Tbh I kinda wanna read a version where the male character isn't all what the fuck oh noes I'm a sailor scout and is like 'fuck yea heroes savin the world badass so what if he's got to wear a sailor skirt he's confident in his gender identity. This is his uniform. Does that bother you or something'

I get so angry at the movie Billy Elliot, mainly because that is my story but without the happy ending. My mother threw an absolute tantrum when she heard I wanted to do dance, she freaked at me and called me a bunch of homophobic slurs, and then hit my face with a pan so hard I broke part of my eye socket. She said I fell off my bike, and the Casualty doctor bought it. I still cannot watch that movie. I haven't spoken to my mother in thirty years. I don't miss her.
