Brook's arc touched me deeper than anything, I swear—and because of that he's up there with my favorite characters. I love him and his skull jokes and everything about him. I gotta agree with tomeka04 though, I can't just have one favorite character for One Piece. They're all just so brilliant.

I'm one of the people that have a crush on one of the more typical characters (see icon), but Brook is awesome and I think people who have crushes on fictional characters should band together, no matter who it is!

Brook is awesome, indeed(even though his skull jokes aren't that funny, at least not in the anime - could just be that I don't like the anime as much as the manga, it feels like they exaggerate too much). He's a very charming skeleton :)
