Ditto. My lesson has been learned! I don't do parties anymore. But lack of reviews has never stopped me from posting fics. I regularly post fics that I know that no one will read. Nobody cares about my head canon as much as me. But if I bothered to write it, I usually post on the off chance that someone else will get a kick out of it.

Ah, man, I had that one. Except the three people actually took about two and a half hours to show up and it was a generally awkward birthday celebration. The only party where everyone skipped it was a tea party/picnic I planned last year. That turned into a pity party real fast.


Admittedly, it's also pretty lonely to be unacknowledged online. It's relative.

Last year I threw myself a pity party online. Lots of people showed up to cheer me up. XD
