No reviews doesn't mean that you're a bad writer, not in fandom. People are fickle when it comes to content and 'ships (I self admittedly am) and will only read and review something that has their favourite character/pairing within it. As someone below said, someone can stick up pointless fluff of the fandom's favourite couple and get tons of reviews, someone else can stick up a well thought out story based around a less popular pairing, and it'll only get feedback from those few fans.

This can apply to content too. So... take a look at what you've written. Does it;

* Have a pairing/character in it that isn't popular within fandom? (If it's het, in most fandoms, that is sadly a yes)

* Is the summary well explained? Maybe if you put a little more meat into it, then people will think 'ooh' and pop in to take a look?

* Is the idea unique, or something that's done thousands of times over, like AU High School fics? (not saying that'd you'd go there, but it's just an example)

I know I skip over fics based on pairings I don't care for, not so much characters, because there isn't anyone I really can't stand. Chin up, anon, maybe try posting it to more specific communities?
