Yes, F!S is hypocritical in this. Just reading the comments makes that obvious. I don't think you're a stalker, but I also don't think this merits another secret (wasn't there a secret about this a couple months ago? Not the six years claimed in other comments above).

But, honestly - why do you care what F!S thinks about your 'one time' stroll past a celebrity crush's house? Yes, a lot of people do that. Yes, it can be pretty fucking creepy/stalkery. You're not a creepy stalker? YAY YOU!

But wanting F!S to tell you it's okay and/or forgive and/or vindicate your actions is kinda silly.

A lot of people in fandom are obsessive, and we gravitate to fandom places because we're alike and have things in common - so what's with F!S assuming secrets about similar topics or the same person, months or years apart, are always by the same person? It's a strange assumption!

Just because you're obsessive, don't assume everyone else is. Someone can be passionate about something without being obsessive. And expecting everyone to be like "this is fine, because you're obsessive" as though that's a healthy thing to be regardless of anything is... weird? Stop

To be clear I was responding to tabaquis point that people seem to want FS to give them validation, then the anon responding to that with "we're obsessive people and so we gather together" and there being a big difference between being passionate and being "obsessive"

Oh it's def the same person, they even used the "it took me fifteen minutes on Google therefore it's okay!" argument. A lot of the wording in comments and in the OP are the same or so eerily similar they are either the same person or brain twins.

Good fucking lord, do you not think that celebs have the right to like personal boundaries or something? Just because they do a public job does not mean it's completely a-okay to look up their house and then walk by it like a stalker for funsies. This crosses several lines and if it wasn't a potentially famous person they were doing this too I wonder if your attitude would be very different towards this.
