Re: F!S nostalgia

Somebody lived in an apartment where the shower had one of those built-in soap dishes that's a little shelf in a niche set into the wall. It had a little bar ("handle") across the niche for hanging a washcloth on, but the person thought it was some kind of grab bar. They either slipped or were just trying to get out of the tub and grabbed the handle, but since it wasn't designed to take a person's weight it ripped out of the wall. (I think the wall was tiled so they may have taken out the whole niche and some of the surrounding tiles, too.) They posted here about how they were mad that their landlord was making them pay for the repairs because, as far as they were concerned, it was a defective grab bar. Then they got even angrier when people here explained that the handle was never a grab bar in the first place, they just accidentally broke something in their apartment and would have to suck it up and pay for the repair.
