For me, it often feels like people skip over the "secret" part just so that they can have a bad take and be an asshole.

Like, a few weeks ago I responded to a secret about liking a certain kink, "It's OK to like this kink. It's not shameful or weird lol" and someone responded "sounds like you're the only one to feel shame and weird over this kink"
???
The secret maker made a secret about enjoying a kink and I just wanted to reassure anyone that might feel awkward about enjoying said kink that it's not as uncommon as one may think.
But sure, person who decided I felt weird about a certain kink because I'm overly enthusiastic about it.

Wanting to be an arsehole is definitelly a thing. It's like a lenghthy disclamer is a must, the one that takes into conideration all possible bad takes. Some love to interpret things in the worst way.
