Walk Hard was not the end-all takedown of the musician biopic that it ought to have been, but the music was spectacular.

Also, wasn't John C. Reilly supposed to do a club tour as Dewey Cox? What became of that?

I agree. The film had its moments though for those who got the references. And the music, of course, was great. "Guilty as Charged", "(Mama) You Got to Love Your Negro Man", "Beautiful Ride", and "Royal Jelly" (his Bob Dylan impression is aces) = <3

I loved John C. Reilly in Chicago, he was so great! I don't understand why he's in crappy comedies all the time. Same thing totally goes for Will too.

I like their comedies together, though. :/ I mean, Reily as Dr. Steve Brule is one of my favorite parts of Tim and Eric. And Step-Brothers was fucking epic.

I suppose I just find him more entertaining as a funny man than a singer.

Well, I didn't say I didn't like them. I just said they were stupid. xD Which sounds contradictory but I enjoy stupid comedy. I mean, I've got Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers on DVD. But the both of them could be doing so much more. It just feels like they're wasting talent on progressively stupider films. Especially Will. Land of the Lost looks like it's gunna be rubbish. I'm not saying they should be doing SRS BIZNES stuff all the time, but it would be nice to see it more often.

And the best part of Step Brothers IMO was Richard Jenkins. My God, he was hilarious. "When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur.."

I agree so much with this secret, i don't like Will Ferrell but i decided to give "stranger than fiction" a chance and i'm glad i did he really is capable of more than play annoying easy laugh characters and i respect John C. Reilly as an actor and seeing him take those roles in movies so undeserving of his talent it's sad

Holy crap, that's pretty much my favorite shot in the entire movie. And I agree; he's very talented. I liked him in The Good Girl as well. He's funny, but I wish he'd do srs stuff as well. I like this secret.
