Good point OP.

I actually wish that it was more acceptable to show a penis on screen. You can probably count on one hand the ratio of flacid dicks that get shown compared to breasts (and at least the pube covered mons area of female genitals.) I feel that male nudity should be used a lot more because you know, in real life...the male parts are pretty damned vital to a few sexual acts.

As far as I know it's still illegal to show an aroused male in mainstream films and television shows. I don't know how I feel about that but part of me does wonder why it's now allowed seeing as breasts are extremely sexual, especially in sex scenes. So if the reason an erect penis isn't shown is down to sexual connotations, well...I just think that's stupid.

In mainstream stuff? I'm not going to pretend I've seen every sex scene ever but what I have seen has the actress being trimmed at most.

But yeah, I didn't mean to imply that every woman keeps her pubic hair.

In my experience with both porn and plain old non-sexual nudity, I've rarely seen a naked woman without her pubic hair being at least trimmed, but most often shaved clean off.

It almost makes me wonder where I can find pubes-on videos. :/
