Peter Dinklage is a fantastic actor, and I'd love to see him get some more traditional leading man roles too. I don't much like rom coms, but I'll take it, and I think he'd have great chemistry with Lee Pace.

I think you're misreading it under the assumption that it's a straight romcom, but the point is for the two of them to get together?

I would love to see him as a leading man. But he's too good for Rom Coms imo. I'd rather see him in something better.

I agree. I'd love to see him in role where he can show off his serious acting chops and his charisma, like a serious drama, or as James Bond.

He's American, and also too old - he's in his 50s, which no Bond actor has ever been at the time of their first movie. He's about the same age as Craig, who just finished being Bond.

Also, he's not really an action star in the first place. If Dinklage was going to be in a spy series, it would be a more Le Carre-type one, not a Bond-type one. And TBH he would be great at that. Someone make that. Have him be a James Angleton-type CIA counterespionage guy.
