Oh, it was my desktop, which I will turn off during a bad storm, but for some reason that night, I just...didn't. And the storm/lightning was CRAZY. Power outs all over, and no internet for a day or so. The storm fried my modem, too - they had to come replace it.

My laptop is always unplugged unless i'm using it. Never again will I leave my desktop on in a bad storm!

Oh hell now. Power surges suck, and we can't all afford surge protectors. Unplugging is the smart thing.
