Yes I'm inclined to agree. It's corporate PR brand crap. Sure people can write or draw or like whatever they want, but it's not the same as fandom fandom.

NAYRT--as opposed to say, fic and art of corporate behemoth Disney characters? Or the original She-Ra or My Little Pony toy commercials cartoons?

I have zero interest in corporate mascot fic or art but I don't see that much difference between it and "regular" fandom.
