OT

That anatomy just bugs me, like the hind legs don't look right for walking on four legs. The mid-joints don't look like they bend the right way to make for any sort of smooth gait, though maybe I'm wrong.

IDK what the context for this critter is, but I feel like the choice to make the back legs basically look like a woman's legs (until you get to the feet) was very deliberate, in that it instills a definite element of sexiness and allure to a creature that is, on the whole, completely terrifying and monstrous. If they'd made the hind leg joints anatomically correct, that alluring effect would be mostly lost, which in turn would significantly reduce the creepiness too, because a big part of the creepiness is the way the design mixes allure with nightmarishness.

I mean, I say this as someone who isn't squicked by monster-fucking, but has zero inclination to seek out monster-fucking content. Maybe if I was a monster-fucker I would think it was hotter for her to have more creature-y hind legs, IDK. But as someone who is largely neutral on monster-fucking, I think they got the balance of elements here just right for maximum impact--even if the anatomy isn't technically correct.

Not saying your criticism isn't valid, it definitely is. Just...ehh. I mean, it's a monster; it's preternatural; it probably embodies some kind of evil; it's basically magic is what I'm saying. So why do it's legs work when they shouldn't? IDK, a wizard did it.
