There is nothing wrong with age gap ships anyway, or age gaps between consenting adults in real life.

The only ship that makes sense to me is Ignis/Noctis. There's literally a DLC about it!

I wouldn't mind some Gladio/Prompto as a side ship, but Ignis/Noctis is most definitely my OTP when it comes to FFXV.

(But obviously you can ship whatever you want, no judgement here.)

I still can’t believe they made a whole ass dlc with an alternate ending dedicated to how much Ignis loves Noctis.

Yep, this is it for me too. I also originally didn't dislike any of the chocobro-combos, even up to the OT4 but a strain of very aggressive Gladnis stans made me hate Gladnis in the end (and the overwhelming number of Noct/Prompto doujinshi annoyed me into disliking that one as well). Which is sad because the fandom started out pretty chill.

As the comm's resident Starker shipper, you are speaking my language, OP. This ship dynamic sounds so good to me.

I generally don't read fanfic outside of my OTPs (like hardly ever), but would you happen to have any stand-out favorite fics for this pairing? Like, full disclosure, if I do read them, the magic might not work for me since I don't have a pre-existing attachment to the story and characters. But if you DO have any favorites, even if you just drop the titles and authors and don't bother with links, I would possibly be interested in checking them out. (If not, no worries tho.)

I wanted to like Noctis/Prompto but the fandoms instance on reducing Prompto to sunshine incarnate or a sad little woobie who just needs his prince to save him got old so fast. Same with Prompto/Gladio. Prompto/Ignis is the only Prompto ship I genuinely enjoy.
