What is everyone doing?

I have had a stressful work week so I am hoping to veg out. I also have to work on my Fortnite stuff, even I could not resist the DBZ skins. Plus, it is fun now that no build is a thing!

Barring no new crisis, going to travel.

Nice! Where?

Germany, just by car. But I need the break.

Oh to live someplace where you can drive to another country by car instead of just some other crappy midwest state. ;_;

I'm also planning a weekend of vegging out, along with cooking some soup (it's my easy weekend feeding myself routine).

I wish it wasn't so hot here. I want soup.

I often end up cooking up a big pot late at night when the heat's gone down, then keeping it in the fridge over the weekend (and just microwaving bowls). Luckily the heatwave seems to be over where I am.

Tomorrow I'm getting a 2 hour massage. So looking forward to it. Other than that, I have no plans. On purpose. My TMJ is making it hard to sleep, and work has been crazy this week, and I'm just mentally and physically exhausted. I'm looking forward to nice long naps.

Will watch the She-Hulk premiere and then start a rewatch of fantasy island season 1.

The massage sounds relaxing! Hope it does its job.

Posting fic, writing fic. Just finished shopping (at multiple locations of the same store since no one store had everything I needed) so I won't need to do that thank goodness... so probably just relaxing. Possibly some yardwork - I found a couple baby Rose of Sharon sprouts that could be transplanted to somewhere they could get some sun.

I hope the weather is nice for your yard work and you get the plants transplanted successfully.

Going to the Head in the Clouds festival at the Rose Bowl to see my problematic fave Jay Park.

Play a lot of Genshin now that the Midsummer Festival event is almost over and I still haven't gotten Fischl or basically anything else. Also, so many Inazuma quests that I would like to finish before Sumeru is released (next week) ... busy Genshin weekend.

Organize my messy excuses for a "house" and a "schedule" too if I can.

Also, I am platonically in love with a fic author right now and I seriously hope they don't feel bad about my short absence from the comment section. The fic is great really.

I don't know what Genshin is except that is has lots of drama! Have fun.

LOL, thank you! It's really not as bad as it sounds though - as long as you take it for what it is (a fun dumb little game) it's really enjoyable, lots of pretty landscapes to take snapshots of, lots of furniture to prettify your little home, pretty fanarts and pretty husbandos/waifus(/furries, whatever floats your boat). Too bad a lot of people take dumb entertainment too seriously.

I gave up on playing Genshin just because Inazuma was starting to really piss me off. Also because idiot children in the fandom being absolute animals.

I really love the ascension system. I loved just running around and collecting stuff. The Pyro Regisvine is a favorite of mine to fight lol.

AYRT here, agreed. Inazuma pisses me off to no end, I spedran through much of it and still haven't finished the quests because... damn spatial puzzles are no fun for impaired people. But Sumeru looks neat so far, its landscapes are beautiful and the events have cute prizes (Collei! The cute seelie that follows you!!) I am concerned about the amount of useless puzzles needed to just explore but hopeful anyway.

My main fear about Sumeru is that there will be a lot of trees to climb and (especially when there are vines involved) the climbing system on anything that isn't a straight wall is a bit annoying in Genshin...

AYRT here, yeah, true. I used to play on phone and it made me legitimately dizzy, to boost. But at least I will finally be able to put my stamina foods to good use...?

Going to the zoo on Saturday! I've lived here for two and a half years and have yet to go and when my partner's company decided to host a picnic at the zoo thing, we decided we should go.

Sunday evening I'm going to be running my first DnD campaign as the DM. I'm pretty nervous (it's homebrewed because I'm overambitious) but I think it's gonna be okay. :3

I hope it is a fun zoo!

Have you played a lot of DND as a player?

Nothing. I was hoping to throw a barbecue party to celebrate starting my new job but one friend is across the Pond at a music festival (after saying "yes of course! set the date!"), one's "not very motivated", two never answered at all, only one said yes with no caveat.
~~It's probably fatigue from the new job talking but I'm vaguely considering binge eating alone and then getting new friends.~~
