I never got into Angle. I just didn't find it very good, tbh. However, I've always felt like if I did watch it, Wesley would end up being my favorite part, because everything I've seen and heard about his character development just seems right up my alley.

What that said...he kept a woman chained in a closet?! Can anyone give me some context? (Yes I know I could look it up, but it's more fun when someone who is into the story tells you about it.)

It's kind of hard to give context without summing up a whole season of Angel and describing a whole load of characters. Put it this way, he's in a dark place at the time, and she's guilty of various things, and he needs her to save Angel's non-life.
