On multiple occasions, Buffy blames and judges people for things like being abused or committing suicide. The interesting part is that this is treated as a character flaw of hers. She’s so obsessed with being the strong one and not breaking under the weight of her role, she forces herself not to see things from the perspective of people who do break.

Yet interestingly, she herself commits suicide, when she chooses to sacrifice her own life rather than live with the pain of if she lost Dawn.
