Right there with you. I mean, I've been on disability since my early to mid twenties, so it's not like I haven't been seriously managing my expectations for my life for a good long while now. And I've known I was ace/aro since I was in my mid teens, so the fact that I'm not married with kids isn't exactly a surprise to me.

But I'm going to be 35 in a couple of weeks, and it just starts to get really scary as you get older. Like, oh this is for real for real.

I feel this. I think it's an opportunity of sorts though. So long I've been nursing pipe dreams with the hope that one day, maybe just maybe I'll be normal. Now I know that's not the case and it's time to set my sights on dreams that are attainable, no matter how small.
