I know nothing about SnB fandom, but all of the T&B fans I've come across have been lovely. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Same. The parts of it I've been involved in have been really chill and friendly and share lots of good fan art with no ship wank or anything. I made a lot of friends 10-11 years ago that I'm still friends with now even though we didn't have much in the way of new content in that particular fandom for so long - they're just cool people.

And I'm not sure what there is to be "entitled" about because everyone I've talked to both then and now basically agrees with me that the canon gives us all we need - and then jokes about stuff like "except obviously it needs to end with Kotetsu and Barnaby making out" or "can these two characters in a rarepair at least TALK to one another?" But literally no one I know is going to be upset if these things don't happen and we don't actually expect it to, we're just messing around. How can we be entitled when we're so satisfied with what the canon freely gives?

And I've never even heard of SnB, so I have no idea if there's something there to compare it to...

Yeah, my friends were like 'just kiss already' as a joke, but we all love the canon story.

Yep! Not that I don't have some things I could gripe about regarding the fandom as a whole (but don't, since it boils down to subjective personal taste and we're all here to have fun), but "entitled" is definitely not something I've seen on display. I could understand some criticisms of the fandom, but not that one.

Back in our oooooooold days T&B used to be a little wanky, mostly for Kotetsu still grieving Tomoe, daring to ship Kotetsu or Barnaby with someone else (specially Karina) and some zine creators stealing the money they got for a book it was never made. But it calmed pretty down even with the movies and the second season.

Really!? Wow, I missed all of that, and I was in the fandom when the original series was airing too!
