Inspired by Secret #8. Heh.

I've always attributed steak with masculinity, particularly the action of tearing at it with one's teeth. One of my earliest memories as far as full on arousal goes was watching a boy go to town on in his lunch back in high school.

I don't need to "tear" at it, because I've cut it up into bite-sized pieces with a knife and fork. I just chew it, like normal.

Oh thank god it's not just me.

Like, if a character in a fic is sucking a cherry popsicle and a character who has the hots for them is watching them do it, I'll probably find it erotic. But that's...really not about the popsicle.

There aren't even many foods I enjoy seeing eroticized in that way. Sometimes it even kind of squicks me out, like stop moaning pornographically over your linguini, it's weird.

Man, THIS. I don't find it erotic or sexy or remotely a turn-on to have someone attempting to eat food in a 'sexy' way, and the thought of food and sex combined (like putting chocolate or something on someone to lick off) grosses me out.
