Who is your favorite Lucifer in media?

Inspired by Secret #14, be it in movies, games, books, or whatever. Which version of the fallen angel is the best?

Peter Cook in Bedazzled.

Not a typical portrayal, but my favourite.

Rather than beautiful or seductive, he’s a bit seedy. No grand plans, just spite against God for being stuck-up. His evil acts are mostly petty, stupid things. Still, he manages to be charming in a low-rent kind of way.

John Milton's in Paradise Lost. Kinda fell in love with him when I was 16.

SMT: Nocturne's take on him.

Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger, given a particularly unsettling depiction in the Claymation movie The Adventures of Mark Twain.

Peter Stormare in Constantine (granted I really love Peter Stormare).

Michael Sheen from the Sandman audio.

(No shade on Christie, she was going for a different flavour.) But Sheen had just the most warm and friendly and reassuring voice - if he stood on the edge of a cliff and told me to jump, well. And that kind of charisma really works for Lucifer.

Also an honourable mention to the Lucifer that turned up in that Keanu Reeves version of Constantine. Again, a different flavour, but he worked the hell out of it.

Melkor from the Silmarillion is my favorite character who is a devil figure. Second would be Darkness from Legend.

as for actual Lucifer, my favorite versions are from Devil's Advocate, The Prophecy, Supernatural, Bedazzled from 2000 (a female devil who is really hot? yes please), End of Days (not great movie, but Byrne as the devil is great), and a couple of the Twilight Zone versions.

As yesterday's secret reminded me, I really liked the one from Shingeki no Bahamut.
