I wouldn't go as far as almost as bad as eating humans, but octopus is the only meat I don't eat after I found out how intelligent they are. (Pork is hard to avoid but I feel bad when I have to eat it because pigs are more intelligent than dogs.) I told one of my friends this and she essentially called me ableist (she's not online enough to use that word) because intelligence doesn't have anything to do with how many rights you have. Like damn, I didn't say I think octopus deserve the legal right to not be eaten. I'm just not comfortable doing it myself.

Same, except I don't eat pork either (but am not vegetarian).
