I REALLY don't get why so many people are attracted to the guy?? The actor has features that I do find attractive, but when he's in character in the show, he puts off the creepy vibes even during the 'friendly' scenes so well that not even as an occasional villainfucker do I get the appeal.

But, if a young male relative of mine felt safe and confident in expressing attraction to him, I would be proud, too! I would be too happy that I was a safe person to be open about being non-straight with to quibble about our differing tastes in men. And ST is a good show for intergenerational fandom-sharing, given the combination of the 80s setting and the different age groups with the kids and teens and adults appealing to a broad range.
