Meanwhile, I love dark fic. I go out of my way to look for torture fics. Not as a kink, more as a cathartic thing.

I definitely like some kinds of dark, so I wasn't really expecting to experience anything soul-scarring. But I guess I discovered a very strong and definite limit, aaargghhh eeuuuggghhhh.

For me I can take a whole lot of graphic in writing. I have a strong limit when it comes to visual media, but much less so with writing.

I'm the same, dark written stuff doesn't tend to affect me much. The only written things that caused any vicseral reaction for me were things that actually happened in real life.
