This is how I feel about kids movies I wasn’t allowed to watch! A lot of video games too. Nothing wrong with that, I think it’s an awesome feeling being able to give yourself presents like that as an adult. It makes me feel like I’m taking care of myself retroactively or something, kinda just putting things right years later by finally getting to watch a movie every other kid really loved when I was little, idk, it might sound silly when I put it that way but I think I totally get what you mean.
