Pretty sure that’s intentional. It’s very specifically crafted bait.

Or making the point that both of their fans say exactly the same thing when defending one of them against the fans of the other.

Good point. I jumped straight to assuming this was just shit-stirring, but you’re right that there is a valid point about fan arguments.

I’m just so damn tired of them.

That's what I took from it too! I hope that's correct because it's the truth.

Nah I think it's genuine-- the red and blue points to Cap and he WAS so personally motivated and unable to talk things out as to become the bad guy of his own movie.

FYI, the marketing for Civil War made heavy use of red and blue – red for Iron Man and blue for Captain America.

Also, the pro-Steve/anti-Tony fans are just as happy to argue that Tony’s entire pro-Accords stance was personally motivated by guilt about his own irresponsibility and sins.

How tf was he the bad guy

I'm curious about this as well.

As I recall, Steve was willing to talk things out with his friends. He just disagreed with some of them profoundly, and had lines he wasn't willing to cross. But he and Natasha were able to still remain friends in spite of their disagreement. A lot of fans overlook that.

A lot of a very specific subset of fans overlook that.
