Harsh, but fair.

No, narrow minded. Not everyone's sense of humour is the same, and it says little about the kind of person you are.

/finds some of Python funny but not all of it

Broken soul reporting in here. Well, I suppose a few of their sketches are amusing, as is Holy Grail in parts, and The Life of Brian, mostly, but I never quite got it.

Morecambe and Wise, now. They still have me in stitches forty fifty years later. Mr Andrew Preview and "Grieg's Piano Concerto", by Grieg! Breakfast, to "The Stripper"! *twirls boa of sausages* And so many others. Absolute bloody classics.

It's just a question of tastes, I suppose.

"Mr Andrew Preview and "Grieg's Piano Concerto", by Grieg"

But he was playing all the wrong notes!

He was playing all the right notes...

(Anonymous) 2022-09-04 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
But not necessarily, in the right order!

Very hit and miss, though

This. They even admit it themselves.

I find most of it hilarious, but I was also raised on it. It’s a style of humor, and it’s not going to hit the same for everyone.

I'm a python fan from way back--met the late Graham Chapman a couple of years before he passed away--and I think you're wrong here, nonny. Humor is highly subjective, and their kind of humor isn't something everyone gets.

Life long Python fan here to say fuck off and don't be ridiculous. You're obviously trolling.

If all else fails, the Fish-Slapping Dance. If you don't laugh at that I don't know what to say.
