I feel like I'm in between the two camps, because I'm super bummed about what happened to Marwa, but also, like, some of the people in the fandom need to lighten up. It sucks, but it's also a TV show.

Yeah - I’d hoped she’d gone on to leave Nandor in a different way considering the sparks of personality she showed in her talking heads or even just how she popped up behind Nandor in the night market episode.

Buuuuut - does this shortsightedness of the main characters and type of fate for secondary characters absolutely track for this show? Very much so. Though maybe it’s the first time it’s happened to a character that’s this type of likable.

AYRT - When she locked Nandor out of the 'man cave' at the end of "Go Flip Yourself," I hoped she'd find a way to get out of there, but alas! And I think you make a good point that this specific instance is rubbing people the wrong way because of how likeable Marwa was. I'm not surprised by this turn of events, and the main characters have done a lot worse, but I did like her more than their usual victims.
