I think their general problem is they're trying to stay kid-friendly but also trying to tell more interesting and psychological stories and it...clashes. For some storylines, if you take them seriously, they're just not "family fun". Which is kind of why I wish there was an "adult" part of the MCU, but I don't see it happening, quite the opposite.

Yeah. In terms of storytelling, the MCU being owned by Disney is ... not really a good thing.
