I can give you lots and lots of examples but here's just one: my favorite animated movie ever was made a lot earlier than the 90's, Yellow Submarine.

WKRP in Cincinnati, M*A*S*H, Alien, Jaws, Auntie Mame, Desk Set....more, but, you know, those are top favs.

love MASH (TV show, didn't like the movie as much)

Desk Set is phenomenal! Very underrated movie IMO. I mean it's hard to go wrong with a movie that has Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn in it.

They do make an awesome due, though I love Kathrine Hepburn the best.

TV: Babylon 5, any pre-90s Star Trek, Sliders (seasons 1-3), early Doctor Who (what I've watched so far), Twilight Zone, Mork and Mindy, Outer Limits, Tales from the Crypt, Powerpuff Girls, Night Gallery.

late 80's Twilight Zone was very underrated.

In any case, I agree with all of these.

A lot of the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Doctor. Some of the Sixth and Seventh. A couple Second Doctor eps.

The Third Doctor is my fave classic Doctor followed by the Fifth. But I like all of them. And I like Classic Who. It is different than New Who, though you can tell New Who is a continuation/reboot. But I really do enjoy it a lot.

The Third Doctor is fantastic! Love his era.

The Fifth Doctor is great and I love him as a character, and I love a lot of his companions as well (Nyssa, Tegan and Turlough). It sucks how hit or miss his episodes can be though - there are just so many times when he was failed by the writing. Which is a real shame because when he gets the material, he's phenomenal.

Golden Girls, MASH, Twilight Zone.

Movies are too many to name.

like all of them aslkjjlkdlksj my favorite movies tend to be from between the 30s to the 80s but special mention goes to Transylvania 6-5000, Clue, Ladyhawke, the Court Jester, RHPS, Fright Night, Holiday, Bringing Up Baby (honestly anything with Cary Grant), Singin' in the Rain, and Duck Soup

TV, I see I'm not alone in loving MASH and the Golden Girls, but Man From UNCLE, TOS, Twilight Zone, Hogan's Heroes, the Adddams Family, Outer Limits, St Elsewhere, Tenspeed and Brown Shoe, Pee-Wee's Playhouse...

Looooooooove Rocky Horror. Singing in the Rain is one of my favorite musical movies ever. Duck Soup=best Marx Bros movie. Love Addams Family and Pee Wee.

I Love Lucy, Classic Who, and The Golden Girls.

Ducktales and TMNT circa 1986, I Dream of Jeannie, I Love Lucy, Murder She Wrote, Charlie's Angels

Murder She Wrote is an iconic, eternal show.

Um. Top 5 pre-90s TV shows... Star Trek, Columbo, Rockford Files, Perry Mason, Classic Who. Perry Mason is seriously great and doesn't get enough credit. Both it and Rockford File should have just as much of a cult as Columbo. I would love to see a world where people were making fancams of Joe Santos and parody Twitter impressions of Raymond Burr.

Movies is much harder so I'll go for a top 20: It Happened One Night, Rebecca, The Maltese Falcon, Some Like It Hot, Sunset Boulevard, Vertigo, Bullitt, The Apartment, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Star Wars, All The President's Men, The Sting, Alien, The Killer, Bull Durham, Repo Man, Raising Arizona, The Thing, Blade Runner, Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro

Original Star Trek, Classic Doctor Who (especially the fifth and seventh doctors), The Prisoner and Blakes 7.
