I'm not sure, but it seems like... on the left is official art, on the right is an unofficial fanart version of the same character only edited to look older. OP thinks that editing images to make characters look older is purity culture(?) and that is bad(?) but finds them hotter older

I feel it is only rude when they say they "fixed" the art or harass the original artist over it. (Fire Emblem fan, so it happens a lot with Heroes)

This feels no different from those "draw those in your style" memes that goes around with screenshots and art. It's weird it's condemned in gacha communities when it feels like mostly harmless fun.

Oh, I see, thank you. Honestly I hardly registered the difference, but I can see the one on the right has smaller, less kid-like eyes, and more muscle I guess. And I also find that more attractive, but it'd be weird if I didn't since I'm 42.

I don't think the vast majority of the world has a clue how royal titles and all that are "officially" supposed to work. And tbh I don't care much... but I agree with you both that there was a lot of racism from the British press, and that (IMO) Harry and Meghan have milked things for all they're worth and behaved like bratty children.
