She's the one responsible for most of the no-homo stuff in Rizzoli and Isles - she wanted to make sure nobody thought they were in a relationship even though "sexy lesbian vibes" were okay. That's when I found out about her political views. I was surprised because the books were pretty casual-to-positive about people shipping Rizzoli/Isles and the characters in the "they're not a couple but they don't go out of their way to correct people" way.
