Aside from the slow burn, how would you sell this manga?

In two different time periods, two generations face off against a curse of fatal misfortune. The danger amps up a lot faster than I expected, with some genuinely nerve-wracking situations where characters can heroically protect each other. I like how the love interest in the modern day is hilariously straightforward. (The modern-day MC somehow manages to convince himself “I fell for him at first sight” isn’t really a declaration of love, because he’s a special brand of oblivious.)

I love me a good slow burn, so I'll definitely be checking this out. Thanks, OP!
