Like... if the family business is incompatible with the job, something has to give. It doesn't sound like it makes sense for the job to be the thing that gives. It's unreasonable to expect you to keep contributing to the family business when there are other options that work just as well for the family business and are compatible with your job.

It can be difficult and emotional but I'm not sure what other answer is really possible, unfortunately.
