THIS. it's obvious that the ROTMNT fandom thinks of twitter as a general space aka "must be safe for children", so they have this crusade against anyone who is not against open twitter accounts with "problematic" stuff, and I agree that incest is not something children should just randomly see while searching for fanart (a lot of antis bring up MLP fandom as a bad example).
But:
1) they haunt even people who have an open general account and a closed NSFW account
2) ROTMNT is the less incesty-looking of all TMNT iterations imo, the guys look very distinct and are a different species of trurtle each, etc, so
3) some "children" (usually 16+ teens afais) ship them and get bullied and excluded by the same antis

also putting "tcest DNI" in general art description, which a lot of them do, is the fastest way to make children who see it ask and google "what is tcest" lol
