I know this stuff was happening for quite a while in sertain fandoms (I had some friends in Voltron fandom and was a silent spectator to some of the antis drama there, I believe it's the first time I heard the word 'anti'), but I'm on twitter for 7 years and somehow it was never that bad in other fandoms I was in (though I was mostly into Transformers, which is super old and chill in comparison to ROTMNT).
Imagine me seeing all this stuff, on DAILY basis! I'm still annoyed, less so about it happening and more about the fact that now I need to find different ROTMNT circle of fans to look at, if I don't wanna rant about it to my friends regulary to vent my annoyance lol.
