Or they may not know the dog is leaving the yard *shrug* I think they suck and shouldn’t own pets but I also think that if they’re older they are less likely to be aware of what’s safe, what’s legal, and what’s common courtesy. Just my personal experience, sorry for making a rational suggestion that could help everyone and leave OP anon in the process. I’ll see myself out.

I literally don't know a single place where it's legal to just let your dog run around on other people's property, soooo....

Vermont. But only if they are attack dogs that are trained to be ultra aggressive and answer to only to one owner. Thanks a lot, hunting lobby.

Ayrt and the yard's not fenced in. No invisible fence, either. If they're letting their dog out of the house into a yard with no fence, they'd have to be pretty dim not to realize that it might leave.
