He was pretty hot in Othello.

The answer is unquestionably The Matrix, it's one of my favorite movies and he's truly amazing in it. His performance is iconic and a huge part of what makes the movie great.

However I also want to shout out his performance as a 17-year-old, credited as Larry Fishburne, in Apocalypse Now

In looking up his filmography, I discovered he apparently had an uncredited role in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang…

…as the voice of the bear in the fake beer commercial.
