A book, either historical or fantasy, with M/M romance and found family. The main rec I got on Reddit for these specific criteria was House in the Cerulean Sea, which I hated. I've read summaries for a bunch of books that are supposed to be this but none of the plots are really grabbing me. IDK. Maybe I just need to start reading some of them and hope they're better than they seem from the synopsis.

To go for a walk in the countryside or on a beach, spend the afternoon reading, have a nice little dinner, then chill out in front of a fire all evening maybe playing board games.

So a holiday I guess. God I need a holiday.

For the stupid problem I left at work last week to magically resolve itself before I came back (I know, just because I wish it doesn't make it so).

For my car's problems to be repaired with minimal to no trouble.

I also want a house but... eh. LOTS of parameters to include on that one, not to mention resentful venting about anyone making it impossible to buy one right now.

Oh, and I'd also like a group of friends I feel I can trust, who are actually worthy of my trust. I know. That's nobody's fault but my own.
