Oh my god, yes. It doesn't even go this deep for me. Sometimes it makes it so obvious that the author is too young to know what life was like in even the RECENT past, so they do goofy shit like having college students in the 90's constantly texting each other and, jfc, Googling stuff while driving.

Haha. I remember when Clueless came out in the 90s and they were making a huge deal about rich high school girls using their own phones to call each other in between classes.

I suppose Google did exist in the 90s but geez. It was still a while before texting and internet browsing on phones became a thing, much less widespread.
