My fandom is classic car collections, and my controversial opinion is that there is a shocking lack of preserved vehicles from the early 80s into the mid 90s. Everyone I know says it is good riddance to them, that they are not worth preserving, but I'm old enough to remember when people said that about cars from the sixties and seventies, and people still made the effort. Please, people, if you come across an old unloved 80s or 90s car, don't send it to the junkyard, try and preserve it. We'll thank you for it in the future.
