I interpret her ending as removing death entirely and forever. When living creatures die now, their souls remain with their bodies (becoming those who live in death) instead of reincarnating. That’s why the Erd Tree was fading in her end. It has no souls returning to it to keep it alive. Eventually the whole of the Lands Between will be like Stormveil, rotten and dead.

But it’s a FromSoft game lol. Most interpretations likely have some validity.

Ranni’s I’m torn on and will admit her stans have made me not want to examine too deeply. Besides, Bloodborne taught me not to trust the moon lol.
