I had no clue this was a thing that existed! I really cannot picture Robert Englund as the Phantom of the Opera.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
He's pictured right there in the secret.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
He looks oddly like Matt Smith there.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Ha, now you say that I can totally see it.

And I find them both hot.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
The question is, is Robert Englund a better singer than Gerard Butler?

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Englund doesn't sing in it, it's not a musical, so idk the answer, but lol.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Idk how he could be worse, but he doesn't sing in this one so maybe.

Hi fellow phan here, I co-sign this secret. I always found Englund's Erik really sexy (not so much at the end of his "final lair" scene, but the rest of the movie? YES PLEASE SIR!)

OP

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Same! Especially, like I said, the booted leg shots. And the cloak action. And the expressions in his eyes. I've watched this version significantly more times than any of the other movie versions.

Sexy??

(Anonymous) 2022-10-09 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Ewww!

Phantom fans be cray-cray.

Oh my god! How dare people have preferences! The NERVE!

...What of it?

Oh, no. It's people who can't let people enjoy things that be cray-cray :)

(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn’t say it was great. But I definitely enjoyed it way more than the one where Erik put rats down his on pants

I finally saw the play this evening and was shocked at how... unfortunate looking the Phantom was! I blame the 2004 movie for making think he just looked like a mildly scared Gerard Butler lol.

(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
lolol. Yep, the 2004 movie looked like he had a mild case of sunburn. The stage show gives him a far more impressive disfigurement!

The original novel describes him as looking like a death's head (complete with no nose).

(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
I agree wholeheartedly with everything in this secret.
