hokay, fine; but on the scale of 100% not a musical to 100% singing and "dead of winter" vs. swallows everywhere that episode was certainly ... early April.

The fact that Doctor Who has never had a musical episode after almost 60 years of doing almost EVERYTHING is genuinely surprising to me.

Actually, pitch: set it at the 1984 Tony Awards. La Cage won over Sunday in the Park with George and Jerry Herman was VERY shady about it. It would be funny to me at least lmao

I have no idea if anyone on the show can sing (this did not stop Buffy) but I can see it working on the Loki show somehow.

All of them. Every single one.

But in my heart of hearts I love the idea of long, complicated shows doing a musical Ember Island Players Recap of the story so far right before the finale. Game of Thrones would have been perfect for this, half naked women and giant prop dicks and songs about how Stannis' soldiers are to cold to fuck now that they're at the wall.

The ongoing show I'll hope for is Ring of Power. Singing is so important in the lore, let's see it!
