That's how I'll always think of him too!

They wanted to shoot part of an episode of Lovejoy in the house we lived in when I was 10, because it had a massive old fireplace, but my mum said no because she didn't want the house taken over by a film crew, or to risk damage to the fireplace.

LOL, that mullet and leather jacket is a whole look, that's for sure. I kind of want to see this show now just for that.

It is very different from his later work. This was primetime Saturday early evening viewing on the BBC, remember. He was a cheeky-chappie, not a violent foulmouthed drunk. If you've seen American Gods, then he was more like a lighter version of Wednesday in his most charming moments, but without the real darkness behind it.
