Nothing wrong with that. Anything in particular inspire the interest?

(Anonymous) 2022-10-12 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Presumably their names?

It's funny, my mind went right to the comic books (since I owned them) and possibly the artists themselves. But I guess the turtles' names would be a more obvious choice.

Because the art style is so unique?

(Anonymous) 2022-10-12 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
More like because they are named after some of the most famous Rennaisance artists.

DA but I was the same. I knew everything about Michelangelo (the artist) by the time I hit high school, bc Mikey was my favourite when I was a kid.

I remember a unit in school where we had to pick a Renaissance artist to do a report on, and the teacher went around the room writing down everyone's choices. I knew what I had to do.

Bonus: we had to make a "baseball card" with their "stats" to hang up in the room, and I couldn't find a picture of Donatello, so I just drew the turtle. Teacher gave me full credit.

LOL! And good for that teacher.

This made me lol - but fair and excellent, OP!

If it amuses you...I've used them when teaching about renaissance art.
