I'm especially salty about this after seeing some really nice fanarts with black versions of some of the elves, and the OPTIONS for cool braided long-haired styles... GAH. No, we get fifty shades of surferdude.

I think Arondir is the most Elven-looking of the male Elves, in part because Ismael Cruz-Córdova has such stunning eyes. Imagine that look with long locs.

Seriously. Dat art 100% sold me on not only headcanon for black Fingon but subsequently the entire Fingolfinian line being black and mixed. And it was a hard sell, I used to be obnoxiously purist. This is just cowardice.
