Huh, I just realised this but billionaires probably think of themselves as (eccentric) genius billionaires, don't they? Everyone thinks of themselves as the hero of their own story, I guess.

Also, now I wonder how irl billionaires think of rich people in media. Do they chuckle when the rich character on a show is "merely" a millionaire? When the rich asshole character learns the lesson that money isn't everything, do they think it's all just sour grapes by poor people? I never thought about that but now I'm really curious how people like that relate to things like Schitt's Creek.

Re: Schitt's Creek, I feel like a lot of them will have the same issue any of us have about anything that's difficult or tragic in nature. That mental block of "well, that'll never happen to me" either consciously or subconsciously.
