Still stanning so hard for my dead OTP in a dead fandom, of course :P

But also now that Tiger & Bunny is being discussed again, I have been back on the moonsky (Keith/Yuri aka Sky High/Lunatic) crack again. They may not interact much in the anime but that manga chapter back in the day gave them such a fascinating dynamic and their points of view about the nature of mankind and justice and ... life in general, really... are so completely different, while their end goal is essentially the same, that I want to see them having those discussions. And Keith, sweet golden retriever in human form that he is (plus maybe his actual golden retrievers), pulling Yuri back from his nihilism before it's too late.

Fucking mood. Currently at 3.5 years with this OTP, and one of the characters has been canonically dead for 3.4 of those years. The fandom isn't totally dead, but 95% of the fic posted for my OTP is in DNW territory for me, so it may as well be.

...Yeah, the lengthy "how did these two get together" fic I wrote for my first and favorite OTP turned 20 years old in May. -_- Pretty well-received at the time, because the game was only 2 years old! And I love them enough I'm still writing them! And since it's rare anyone else writes in the fandom other than myself, the "rarepair" is now the dominant pairing, hahah.

But since the game is now 22 years old, anything I post now gets like a single hit/kudos from one of my friends who were also in the fandom 20 years ago wandering past, or someone looking out of curiosity from an active/bigger fandom I'm writing in. I keep thinking of making a secret about how I hope after I die people will realize I'm not writing any more in THEIR fandom so they'll go look at what else I've written, go "wtf that's a lot of fic for a thing I've never heard of" and give it a shot and fall in love with my boys the way I did. But that's not actually a secret. :P

Yeah, 20 years is def a long time. I keep my OTPS a long ass time, but not that long, lol. I only have one OTP at a time though, so that's why. Five years is a LONG time to be exclusive with just one ship.

Yeah, heh. I only really have the one OTP as in... across all fandoms that is my ONE true pairing. There are other pairings that I like, but then there are my boys that are always there lurking in the back of my head with more stories to tell and more dysfunctional conflict to work through. ;)
