(Anonymous) 2022-10-22 12:20 am (UTC)(link)Cinderella kept itself very simple and put its focus on the characters as they were, and it worked very well. Maleficent, I enjoy as its own fairy tale movie, unrelated to the Disney version in any way (but I'm also just a sucker for any movies that center women and women's relationships)
